Day 12
To The Girl Still Waiting
I too am waiting
Waiting on prayers prayed
And
Waiting on dreams dreamed
And
Waiting on decreed manifestations
But
Who or what is waiting on me us?
I promise you
If I had waited for everything to be just right
You and I wouldn’t be having this conversation.
As I shared in an earlier piece
I remember rehearsing all the reasons why
I could not move forward with my desire and life calling to inspire others
I wanted everything to be perfect.
From eradicating debt to improving my health and physical appearance.
Sure those are things I am still working on
But who needs me NOW?
In this short video clip from a few years ago – I am honest about how worrying about such things is not where my focus should be – ’cause I could miss an opportunity to literally save a life.
Life is too short Beloved!
So today while waiting…
I want you to honestly ask yourself a few questions:
- Are you waiting or procrastinating?
- Why are you waiting?
- Is who/what you’re waiting for worth waiting for?
- Is it something or someone that has also deemed you worth the wait?
Lord God,
I pray that you would grant the person reading this right now wisdom and discernment. I pray for clarity and wisdom to prevail. May they know their worth and not settle waiting for who or what has already moved on.
Thank you for the gift of grace to wait patiently and honorably. Give us the courage to push past our insecurities so we can bless those waiting on us.
Amen

Yes. We need to stop waiting for everything to be perfect and live our lives. Tomorrow is not promised and we’re just wasting time. 🙂
