He reminded me of family. I don’t know…it could’ve been the New York connection. I just knew that I always understood what he had to say and more importantly, what he wanted to say.

Honoring his evolution, I journeyed with him as his username changed a few times and his poetic style transitioned in leaps and bounds. Oh and then there was the time we collaborated. Concrete Jungle + a quest for serenity, equaled undeniable peace:

WITH CLOSED EYES

I felt the water touching me/exalting me/ purifying deeply clean/also the scent of tangerines/I hear the bee’s buzz right before they sting/and the daffodils tickle my naked feet similar to a hair string/the solar of the sun rays moisturizes my flesh I perspire a gleam/and I hear the salmon swimming underneath the stream/I touch my eyelashes which is connected to my face like a seam/with closed eyes this is what I seen.

Sounds to me like you saw paradise

And felt calm before the storm

Our existence free of anxiety

Scarless bodies void of self harm

Purity intact before violation 

Vivid colored dreams 

With heightened sensation 

A time where safe havens 

Were actually safe

Adam & Eve bare but not exposed

An existence where 

Peace remained unscathed

I too see better 

with my eyes closed

“Peace…I’m FromDust2Dawn and my essence is AgustOfWind! Basically my bio is a…or rather the reason I’m here is to elaborate on just how I came about writing poetry.
