To The Dreamer In You

Didn’t mean to wake you but you’re sleep

Ignoring your God given gifts

As though it hurts to breathe

Removing your heart from rejection

Rediscovering your mind post dissection

I still believe in you Dreamer so dream.

What hurt you has to release its grip

Write what destroyed you out the script

Dream ’till you remember your assignment

And your why

Promise me you Dream on purpose

For those who dream in legacies

Never die…
