It is my pleasure to introduce my Authenticitee Speaks audience to an absolute gem. I visit Tialila Kikon’s Instagram page frequently for several reasons. It is peaceful, aesthetically pleasing and her writing is second to none. I enjoy interacting with her and admire her ability to say so much in so few words. Grace personified, she is steadfast as still waters run deep. We are literally worlds apart but the beauty of her words ever draw me close.

I’m Tialila Kikon from the state of Nagaland. Blessed abundantly with natural beauty, it’s a land of early dusk and early dawn situated in Northeast India.
I’m a Geminian, a misty-eyed old soul with many spirits inside. I’m a young heart (that is) going to be 44 soon. I’m inspired to scribble poetry by life, human-nature, relationships, love stories and nature. I teach literature in a college. I’m a mother to two lovely kids who inspire me everyday to love life even more. I strongly believe we’re all flawed but flawsome can be awesome if we accept ourselves just the way we are because each of us is a piece of wonderful art carefully crafted with God’s own loving hands.
My first book of poems, “Paper Cranes” which was published in 2016 speaks about the pain and burden of war, especially upon children. It is my silent prayer and hope that one day, love and peace will heal all the miseries caused by hatred and human greed.
