I love the way she loves. I have often mentioned “kindness” in my introductions during this series because it’s a trait that’s very important to me. Ann is beautiful inside and out and the kindness she shares is extended to all who cross her path. Her poetry is extremely powerful because it is born of a wisdom that can only come from life lived and life breathed anew. 

In her own words…

My name is Ann Keon and I call home Houston Texas. My love for poetry started when I read ‘The Road Not Taken’ by Robert Frost in the 4th grade. I started writing poetry in High School and then picked it up again about two years ago. I was really feeling low one night and jotted my feelings down and posted it to my personal Instagram account and that’s how it all began again. I believe words have power. What I think about…I bring about. I’m honored to be in the company of so many talented writers in the Instagram poets and writer community and consider them family. I’m a self taught poetess by life…manifesting my reality .. one word at a time.
