Regal. Royalty…(sigh). That’s how I would describe Ife. A consistent breath of fresh air; she’s a gift to our Instagram writing community. Her distinct poetic style and beauty may be the invitation for many; while her writing gift and grace causes one to remain. A class act; she has been nothing but kind to me from Day One. It is an absolute pleasure to share her work in this space.

I have always loved writing, it was my voice as a shy and reserved girl. When I was younger, writing was just writing, about myself mostly. It felt like my best friend. As I got older and discovered love, dreaming of love led to bleeding to love which became my source of inspiration for poetry. And now I have come to discover once more that writing is just writing. It is something I need to do. It is one of the few things that makes me feel alive and free.
