By far one of the strongest and kindest women on my Instagram CyberSquad she first caught my eye with this post:

“Yessss my Sista! Yesss!”, I remember thinking. I felt like her post had described what I’d like to think about myself to a tee! Ah but there was more!

An American born writer and consultant of Haitian and Spanish descent; I soon learned Poet/Writer Nita Marentic has more than a way with words. Her style of poetry has a warmth to it that compels one to slowly digest her train of thought. One of my favorite pieces reads as follows:Nita makes you wanna really think about love. The more I got to know about her the more impressed I became. Fluent in both Portuguese and Italian, her love for the arts is inviting. 

In her own words…

Singing is my first love. Cooking is my superpower. Lol!

What is most rewarding for me are the services my sister and I provide for children with special needs, through her business. We advocate for them to get the education they need and deserve, custom fit for their needs. It changes their lives!

Bio

Nita Marenic attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she majored in Paralegal Studies and minored in Classical Voice.

Tapping into a hidden talent, Nita began outsourcing by using her writing skills to her advantage in various formats such as grant writing and writing proposals. In 2015, Nita was onboarded by the Durham Company where she served as a Magazine Editor. Nita has been published in several magazines with articles ranging in topics from editorials, interviews, creative writing to sports.

Though Nita occasionally freelances for a production company, her primary writing focus has been on her private collection of work…which can be found on her Instagram page. Nita’s mission is to continue to grow herself as a writer.
